Job Description A world-renowned music and entertainment company, based in Beirut-Lebanon covering the MENA region markets, is seeking an innovative, music passionate and creative Manager, Marketing & Digital to drive international and local artist campaigns across digital media & advertising and be part of this new musical adventure. High Level Job Description: The primary focus of the position is to create and execute compelling digital marketing campaigns that support international and local artist development and commercial objectives across recorded music, merchandise and other revenue streams. This includes, but is not limited to, creating content, developing social media presence, building online communities, designing and creating promotional materials, executing ad campaigns, branding, media training, and much more! It’s a fast paced and challenging role that requires a skilled marketer with first class communication skills and the ability to excel under strict deadlines. Here You Will Get To: Conceive, develop, manage and execute impactful marketing plans including digital ones to support for the company’s artists and releases. Work with Managing Director to formulate budgets and conceive and implement yearly marketing strategy. Launch innovative and creative brand partnership opportunities for the artists and maintain brand relationships. Identify revenue opportunities from direct media sales as well as closing digital ad deals. Build presentations that tell smart, compelling stories Ensure maximum exposure for artists/releases over all digital channels as well in physical retail outlets where needed. Commission, develop and promote artist websites and other digital marketing tools with focus on consumer data collection and CRM development. Brainstorm and create exciting, “cool” and new online content (exclusive video content, artist journals, photo galleries, etc.) for artists to drive traffic and subscribers Commission and manage digital PR campaigns working closely with Promo Manager. Manage day-to-day relationship with the international marketing & digital teams, ensuring clear and timely communication of all digital campaigns to the responsible label teams highlighting opportunities. Establish and maintain successful relationships with key digital music services marketing teams to maximize marketing and promotional activity for artists, securing optimum promotion for content. Build and manage new and on-going relationships with influencers as they relate to grassroots marketing Work with Digital Designers to deliver digital products, marketing assets and tools as necessary to support campaign objectives including digital & mobile ad formats, social and mobile applications, CRM tools, website creative, etc. Conduct competitive research & marketing analysis Collect and translate data into actionable insights, which will help drive business strategy and decision-making process. Provide timely reports on campaigns. Rockstar Candidates Will Be Able To: You will have strong marketing experience across digital, TV advertising, radio and press, ideally gained within a music or media environment. You have experience working directly with artists and/or celebrities on social media or other digital campaigns. You have the ability to plan, organize and execute campaigns in a timely manner You love numbers and have a penchant for translating insights into easily understandable formats, using data to inform business decisions. You have AMAZING organizational abilities and strong attention to detail. You can prioritize based on biggest wins for our artists and the team, whilst managing multiple deadlines. You are naturally curious, willing to learn a little bit of everything, and open to take on anything. You have first-class communications skills, both written and verbal, and know how to deliver your message with impact. You have client-facing experience You have an in-depth understanding of new music consumption channels as well as the digital marketing mix and context within wider marketing framework. You are a self-starter, with an appetite to innovate and ability to think creatively. You have working knowledge of interactive technologies and communication tools. You are able to anticipate issues and risks at module level and escalate accordingly. You are proficient across MS Office, analytics tools, and other marketing tools. You are able to create impressive presentations. You are fluent in English. Rockstar Candidates Will Have At least 5-6 years of marketing experience in relevant industries. BS in Marketing, Communications, or similar. Solid portfolio of recent work across diverse media and/or applications. Knowledge in local and international music biz. It would be music to our ears if you also had: Experience with enterprise-level and startup analytics tools, including data segmentation, visualization and dashboard tools. Some may include Tableau, Next Big Sound, social listening tools, and beyond. Background working within digital advertising and programmatic: Ad Sales or Ad Operations, SSPs/DSPs, digital ad servers and analytics/reporting systems. Basic working knowledge of video editing and popular graphic design applications including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Experience within a music business, digital music or content management role.
